And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
