The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
