The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
