See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
