Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 for an appointed term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
