He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man. 2 And what do you know, he may be of the pure! 3 or yet remember, and the Reminder profit him. 4 Yet you pay attention 5 So you are after him! 6 though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself -- 7 But he who comes to you running, 8 and fears (Allah), 9 to him thou payest no heed. 10 No indeed, this is a Reminder; 11 So whosoever willeth - let him be admonished therewlth. 12 in [the light of His] revelations blest with dignity, 13 exalted, purified, 14 by the hands of the noble, virtuous, 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 May man be slain how ungrateful he is! 17 From what stuff hath He created him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm He creates him, and thereupon determines his nature, 19 Then made his passage easy (at birth); 20 Then He caused him to die and be buried 21 then, when He wills, He raises him. 22 Nay; but he has not done what He bade him. 23 So let man just consider his food: 24 [how it is] that We pour down water, pouring it down abundantly; 25 and then We cleaved the earth asunder. 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 And grapes and herbage, 28 Olives and dates, 29 And thick gardens, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 [As] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock. 32 But when the deafening blast is sounded, 33 on a Day when everyone will [want to] flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 And his spouse and his son-- 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 Some faces on that day will be radiant, 38 laughing, and rejoicing, 39 Some faces on that Day shall be dust-ridden, 40 and veiled with darkness. 41 It is they, the disbelievers, the sinners. 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
