۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
