We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
