Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 noble, writers 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what do you know of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
