The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 Who are humble in their service, 2 who turn away from idle talk; 3 pay their religious tax 4 those who safeguard their chastity 5 Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable, 6 but those who seek to go beyond that are transgressors -- 7 who are true to their trusts and their covenants, 8 And who pay heed to their prayers. 9 These are they who are the heirs, 10 who will inherit Paradise; they shall live there for ever. 11 We created the human from an essence of clay: 12 Then placed him as a drop (of seed) in a safe lodging; 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 Then after that you shall surely die, 15 Then will be raised up on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And indeed, We have created above you seven [celestial] orbits: and never are We unmindful of [any aspect of Our] creation. 17 And We sent down water from the sky in proper measure, then stored it in the earth; and indeed We are Able to take it away! 18 And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat. 19 We have also created for you the tree that grows on Mount Sinai which produces oil and relish for those who use it. 20 And behold, in the cattle [too] there is indeed a lesson for you: We give you to drink of that [milk] which is within their bellies; and you derive many [other] uses from them: for, you eat of their flesh, 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
