The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
