We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
