Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 And when the stars darken, 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 And when the seas rise, 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 When the world on High is unveiled; 11 And when the hell is kindled up, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 and the night as it darkly falls, 17 by the dawn sighing, 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 Obeyed one; then trustworthy. 21 Your companion is not possessed; 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. 24 And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; 25 So where are you going? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
