The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
