Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 Woe to those who pray 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 and refuse charity. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
