Animals (Al-An 'aam)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Praise be to Allah, Who hath created the heavens and the earth, and hath appointed darkness and light. Yet those who disbelieve ascribe rivals unto their Lord. 1 He it is who created you of clay and then decreed a term - and a term determined is with Him - yet ye waver. 2 He is God in the heavens and the earth. He knows what you hide and bring out into the open, and knows what you earn (of good and evil). 3 Yet every time a sign of their Lord comes to them, they turn away from it, 4 So indeed they denied the truth* when it came to them; so now the tidings of the thing they used to mock at, will come to them. (Prophet Mohammed -peace and blessings be upon him, or the Holy Qur’an). 5 Do they not consider how many a generation We have destroyed before them, whom We had established in the earth as We have not established you, and We sent the clouds pouring rain on them in abundance, and We made the rivers to flow beneath them, then We destroyed them on account of their faults and raised up after them another generation. 6 Even if We had sent you a transcript on paper which they could feel with their hands, the unbelievers would have said: "This is nothing but clear sorcery." 7 And they said, “Why has not an angel been sent down to him?” And had We sent down an angel, then the matter would have been finished, and they would not get any respite. 8 Indeed, if We had sent an angel as messenger, We would have made him in the form of a man as well, and would have thus added to their confusion. 9 And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule. 10
