Messengers! Eat of that which is good and do good deeds; I have knowledge of the things you do. 51 And verily, this community of yours is one single community, since I am the Sustainer of you all: remain, then, conscious of Me! 52 But their nations broke their tasks into pieces; every group happy with what it has. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 Do they think that in giving them wealth and children 55 We are hastening to reward them for good deeds? No. They do not comprehend. 56 Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 and those who associate naught with their Lord 59 who give what they give, with their hearts quaking, that they will return to their Lord: 60 it is these who hasten to do good works and vie in so doing with one another. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Aye! their hearts are in bewilderment in respect thereof, and they have works beside that, of which they are workers. 63 But when We seize with the punishment those of them that live in ease, they groan. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil. 67 Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it that they did not recognise their Noble Messenger, therefore they consider him alien? 69 Do they say he is mad! No, he came to them with the truth, but most of them hate the truth. 70 And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder. 71 Are you asking them for something? What Allah has given you is the best. He is the Best of providers. 72 And verily thou! thou callest them unto a Path straight. 73 But those who believe not in the Hereafter turn away from the straight path. 74 ۞ And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allah) with submission to Him. 76 until We opened upon them the door of a severe chastisement. Then lo, in this state they become utterly despaired of any good. 77
