Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
ALIF LAM MIM. 1 This Book, beyond all doubt, was revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 2 Or do they say he has fabricated it? In fact, it is the truth from your Lord so that you may warn the people to whom no admonisher was sent before you. They may haply come to guidance. 3 It was Allah, who, in six days created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and then willed to the Throne. You have no guardian nor intercessor other than Him. Will you not remember? 4 He rules (all) affairs from the heavens to the earth: in the end will (all affairs) go up to Him, on a Day, the space whereof will be (as) a thousand years of your reckoning. 5 He knows the unseen and the seen. He is Majestic and All-merciful. 6 It is He Who created everything in the best manner and began the creation of the human being from clay. 7 then He fashioned his progeny of an extraction of mean water, 8 Then He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him the soul (created by Allah for that person), and He gave you hearing (ears), sight (eyes) and hearts. Little is the thanks you give! 9 They say: 'What, when we have been destroyed in the earth, shall we indeed be in a new creation' Indeed, they disbelieve that they will meet their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: "The angel of death, who is set over you, will take your souls, then you shall be brought to your Lord." 11
