In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Recite in the name of your Lord who created - 1 created man out of a germ-cell 2 Recite: And thy Lord is the Most Generous, 3 The One Who taught to write with the pen. 4 He taught the human being what he did not know. 5 Nay, verily, man becomes grossly overweening 6 Because he considers himself self-sufficient. 7 Indeed, to your Lord is the returning. 8 What is your opinion – regarding him who forbids – 9 A bondman of Ours when he prayeth 10 Tell me, if he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is on the guidance (of Allah)? 11 or is concerned with God-consciousness? 12 What do you think? Have you seen if he belies and turns away, 13 Knoweth he not that Allah beholdeth? 14 No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock - 15 by the lying forelock steeped in sin. 16 So let him summon his helpmates; 17 We also shall call the infernal guards. 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
