See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
