Al-Hajj 9 of 10
Have you not seen how Allah has subjected to you all that is in the earth, and the vessels that sail in the sea by His command, and it is He Who holds back the sky that it may not fall on earth except by His leave? Surely Allah is Most Gentle, Ever Compassionate to people. 65 It is He who gave you life, then He shall make you dead, then He shall give you life. Surely man is ungrateful. 66 For every nation We have appointed a Holy Rite which they shall perform. Do not let them dispute with you concerning the matter. Call to your Lord; surely, you are upon a Straight Path. 67 And if they contend with you, say: Allah best knows what you do. 68 He will issue His decree about your differences on the Day of Judgment." 69 Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heaven and the earth? Surely this is in a book; surely this is easy to Allah. 70 And they worship besides Allah that for which He has not sent down authority and that of which they have no knowledge. And there will not be for the wrongdoers any helper. 71 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, you will see traces of anger in the faces of the disbelievers; possibly they may attack those who recite Our verses to them; say, “Shall I show you what is worse than your current state? That is the fire! Allah has promised it to the disbelievers; and what a wretched place to return!” 72
