۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
