And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
