Blessed be He who, if He will, shall assign to them better than that -- gardens underneath which rivers flow, and he shall assign to thee palaces. 10 No, they belied the Hour. We have prepared for him who belied the Hour a Blaze. 11 When it sees them from a far place, they shall hear its bubbling and sighing. 12 And when they are chained together and flung into a narrow space therein, they will begin to call for death. 13 "This day plead not for a single destruction: plead for destruction oft-repeated!" 14 Say, “Is this better or the Everlasting Gardens which are promised to those who fear? That is their reward and their outcome.” 15 Therein they will eternally have whatever they want. This is a binding promise from your Lord." 16 And on the Day when He will gather them together and that which they worship besides Allah [idols, angels, pious men, saints, 'Iesa (Jesus) - son of Maryam (Mary), etc.]. He will say: "Was it you who misled these My slaves or did they (themselves) stray from the (Right) Path?" 17 They will say; hallowed be Thou! it behoved us not that we should take beside Thee any patron, but Thou allowedest them and their fathers enjoyment until they forgat the admonition, and they were a people doomed. 18 [God will say], "Now, they have given the lie to all your assertions, and you can neither ward off [your punishment] nor obtain any help." For, whoever of you has committed evil, shall be caused by Us to taste great suffering!" 19 We never sent any messengers before you who did not eat food and walk in the market-place. We make some of you a means of trial for others, to see whether you are steadfast. Your Lord is all seeing. 20
