The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
