1/2 Hizb 45

۞ “Gather all the unjust persons and their spouses, and all that they used to worship!” 22 Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell; 23 And halt them so that they may be questioned. 24 [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" 25 indeed, on that Day they will surrender themselves. 26 And some of them inclined towards others, mutually questioning. 27 They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right." 28 They will say: nay! ye yourselves were not believers. 29 And we had over you no authority, but ye were a people exorbitant. 30 But now our Lord's word has come true against us: truly, we are bound to taste [the punishment]. 31 So we led you astray, for we ourselves were erring. 32 Then verily, that Day, they will (all) share in the torment. 33 That is how We deal with sinners. 34 Indeed, when it was said to them, “There is no God except Allah”, they were haughty. 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 "Surely, he has brought the truth, confirming those who were sent before; 37 Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, 38 And be rewarded but only for what you had done, 39 Except for God's sincere servants; 40 For them is a known sustenance, 41 fruits. And they are receivers of generosity 42 In Gardens of Delight. 43 facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 44 A drink will be passed round among them from a flowing spring: 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 Neither dulling the senses nor intoxicating, 47 And with them are those of modest gaze, with lovely eyes, 48 As if they were eggs, safely hidden. 49 They will go to one another asking each other questions. 50 One of them says, 'I had a comrade 51 Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)? 52 Can we, when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones - can we (then) verily be brought to book? 53 He says, 'Are you looking down?' 54 He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin, 56 But for my Lord's blessing, I were one of the arraigned. 57 Is it then that we are not going to die, 58 except for our first death? Are we not going to be punished? 59 “This is, most certainly, the supreme success.” 60 For the like of it should the workers work. 61 Is that better as a hospitality, or the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum? 62 Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that grows in the nethermost part of Hell. 64 Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. 65 So indeed they will eat from it, and fill their bellies with it. 66 then in addition to it they shall have a draught of boiling water to drink; 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 and they are running in their footsteps. 70 yet before them most of the ancients went astray, 71 And We had sent admonishers to them. 72 See how those who were warned met their end! 73 Except the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah. 74
