Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ha'. Mim. 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 2 Most surely in the heavens and the earth there are signs for the believers. 3 In your creation and in that of the beasts living on earth there is evidence of the Truth for the people who have strong faith. 4 And in the alternation of Night and Day, and the fact that Allah sends down Sustenance from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the change of the winds,- are Signs for those that are wise. 5 These are the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.) of Allah, which We recite to you (O Muhammad SAW) with truth. Then in which speech after Allah and His Ayat will they believe? 6 Woe unto each sinful liar, 7 Who hears the verses of Allah which are recited to him, then remains stubborn, proud, as if he did not hear them; therefore give him the glad tidings of a painful punishment. 8 for when he does become aware of any of Our messages, he makes them a target of his mockery! For all such there is shameful suffering in store. 9 In front of them there is Hell, and that which they have earned will be of no profit to them, nor (will be of any profit to them) those whom they have taken as Auliya' (protectors, helpers, etc.) besides Allah. And theirs will be a great torment. 10 This is (true) Guidance and for those who reject the Signs of their Lord, is a grievous Penalty of abomination. 11
