With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
