Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Hast thou received the story of the Enveloper? 1 On that day the faces of some people will be humbly cast down, 2 Labouring, striving hard. 3 they shall enter a burning Fire 4 They will be given drink from a boiling spring. 5 No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari' 6 Which shall neither nourish nor avail against hunger. 7 (Other) faces on that day shall be happy, 8 With their endeavour well pleased. 9 In a lofty garden, 10 where they will hear no idle talk, 11 Countless springs will flow therein, 12 Wherein are couches raised 13 and goblets set at hand, 14 And cushions lined up 15 And linen spread out. 16 Will they not regard the camels, how they are created? 17 And the heavens, how it was raised high; 18 And the mountains, how they were fixed; 19 And the earth, how it was spread out? 20 Therefore remind, you are only a Reminder. 21 You are not a warden over them, 22 Except whoever turns away and disbelieves – 23 Allah will chastise him with the greatest chastisement. 24 Verily, to Us will be their return; 25 and then it is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
