Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and be faithful to (your) covenant with Me, I will fulfill (My) covenant with you; and of Me, Me alone, should you be afraid. 40 And believe in what I have sent down confirming what is with you, and do not be the first to disbelieve it. Do not sell My verses for a little price and fear Me. 41 And do not confound the truth with vanity, and do not conceal the truth wittingly. 42 Establish the Salat, pay the Zakat and bow down before Me along with those who bow down. 43 ۞ What! do you enjoin men to be good and neglect your own souls while you read the Book; have you then no sense? 44 And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah] 45 Who bear in mind the certainty that they are to meet their Lord, and that they are to return to Him. 46
