Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them. 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, save in truth. Surely the Hour is coming; so pardon thou, with a gracious pardoning. 85 Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 Those who broke the Word of Allah into several parts. (Those who broke the Torah / Bible or changed its text or those who called the Qur’an a fabrication / poetry.) 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 about what they did. 93 Preach what you have been commanded to and stay away from the pagans. 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 When (you feel so) glorify your Lord with His praise and prostrate yourself before Him, 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Hijjr Valley (Al-Hijjr). Sent down in Mecca after Joseph (Yousuf) before Animals (Al-An 'aam)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
