۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
