1/2 Hizb 45

۞ But We shall say, "Assemble those who did wrong together with their associates and what they worshipped 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 “And stop them they are to be questioned.” 24 "How is it that [now] you cannot succour one another?" 25 But they, that Day, are in surrender. 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 Some [of them] will say: "Behold, you were wont to approach us [deceptively] from the right!" 28 Others will respond, "It was you who did not want to have any faith. 29 "Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! 30 “So the Word of our Lord has proved true upon us; we will surely have to taste (the punishment).” 31 So we led you astray, for we ourselves were erring. 32 So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment. 33 Verily We! in this wise We deal with the culprits. 34 Truly, when it was said to them: La ilaha ill-Allah "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it). 35 And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" 36 Nay, but he [whom you call a mad poet] has brought the truth; and he confirms the truth of [what the earlier of God's] message-bearers [have taught]. 37 Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;- 38 You will only be recompensed according to your deeds.” 39 Not so, however, God's true servants: 40 will have their determined sustenance 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 In the Gardens of delight, 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 A cup will be passed round among them [with a drink] from unsullied springs, 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And with them shall be damsels of refraining looks, large-eyed 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 Then they will turn to one another and question one another. 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). 52 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be recompensed?" 53 He will say: -- Do you wish to know where he is now?' 54 He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He will say to him: -- By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 Had it not been for the grace of my Lord I too would have been there (in Hell). 57 Is it then that we are not going to die, 58 "Except our first death, and we shall not be punished? (after we have entered Paradise)." 59 “This is, most certainly, the supreme success.” 60 For this the toilers should strive." 61 Is this not a better reward than the tree of Zaqqum 62 Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 its spathes are as the heads of Satans, 65 Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. 67 then their return is to Hell. 68 They found their fathers had gone astray; 69 So they (too) were rushed down on their footsteps! 70 So had many an earlier people gone astray, 71 We had certainly sent warners to them. 72 Observe, then, what was the end of those that had been warned, 73 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 74
