Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Has the story reached thee of the overwhelming (Event)? 1 Many a face will be disgraced on that day. 2 toiling [under burdens of sin,] worn out [by fear,] 3 They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire. 4 They will be given to drink from a boiling spring, 5 No food for them save the bitterness of dry thorns, 6 that will neither nourish nor satisfy their hunger. 7 (Whereas other) faces on that Day will be joyful, 8 Glad with their endeavour (for their good deeds which they did in this world, along with the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism). 9 In a lofty Paradise. 10 hearing there no babble; 11 A gushing fountain shall be there 12 Within it are couches raised high 13 And chosen goblets. 14 And cushions set in rows, 15 And carpets ready spread, 16 Will they not then consider the camels, how they are created? 17 And the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And at the Mountains, how they are fixed firm?- 19 how the earth was outstretched? 20 Remind them; you are surely a reminder. 21 You are not a warden over them, 22 But whoever will turn away (from the Truth), 23 Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. 24 Verily unto Us is their return. 25 and then it is for Us to call them to account. 26
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
