The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
