And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
