And he whose sight is dim to the remembrance of the Beneficent, We assign unto him a devil who becometh his comrade; 36 And indeed, the devils avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided 37 Until when he comes to Us, he says: O would that between me and you there were the distance of the East and the West; so evil is the associate! 38 It will be said [to such a person], "You have done wrong. Having partners in punishment will be of no avail to you today." 39 So will you make the deaf listen or show the path to the blind, and to those who are in open error? (The disbelievers whose hearts are sealed, are deaf and blind to the truth). 40 And even if We take you (O Muhammad SAW) away, We shall indeed take vengeance on them. 41 or We shall show you what We have promised them; for surely We have complete power over them. 42 So, hold fast to the Book that has been revealed to you, you are surely on the right path, 43 and, verily, this [revelation] shall indeed become [a source of] eminence for thee and thy people: but in time you all will be called to account [for what you have done with it]. 44 And ask those of Our messengers whom We sent before thee: Did We ever appoint gods to be worshipped beside the Beneficent? 45
