Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 surely what you are being warned against is true, 5 and the recompense shall surely happen. 6 By the Sky with (its) numerous Paths, 7 Verily ye are in a divided opinion. 8 Only those who are destined to revert, are reverted from it. 9 Woe to the liars 10 Who are careless in an abyss! 11 They ask, "When will be the Day of Judgment and Justice?" 12 On that Day they shall be tried at the Fire, 13 [and will be told:] "Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!" 14 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and fresh springs of water, 15 taking whatsoever their Lord has given them; they were good-doers before that. 16 They slept but a little at night, 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 And in the earth there are signs for those who are sure, 20 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 21 There is in the heavens your sustenance, and whatever has been promised you. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
