We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
