Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
