Nothing prevented people from believing when guidance came to them but (the excuse): 'Has Allah sent a human as a Messenger' 94 Say: If there were in the earth angels walking secure, We had sent down for them from heaven an angel as messenger. 95 Say, "God is a sufficient Witness between me and you. He certainly sees and knows all about His servants. 96 Those whom Allah guides are rightly guided; but for those whom He leads astray you shall find no guardian, other than Him. On the Day of Resurrection We shall gather all of them upon their faces, blind, dumb, deaf. Gehenna shall be their refuge, whenever it dwindles, We will increase the Blaze for them. 97 This will be their retribution for having denied Our signs and said: "Once we are turned to bones and bits, can we be raised as a new creation?" 98 ۞ Do they not see that Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth is Able to create people similar to them, and has set a term for them in which there is no doubt? So the unjust do not accept without being ungrateful. 99 Say, "Had you owned the treasures of the Mercy of my Lord, you would have locked them up for fear of spending them.
