The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
