The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
