T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 only as reminder for those who have fear (of disobeying God). 3 It is a sending down from Him who has created the earth, and the high heavens, 4 The Compassionate on the Throne is established. 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 God, there is no deity but Him. His are the most excellent names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: "Wait! Verily, I have seen a fire, perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 When he reached it, he was called: 'O Moses, 11 I Am your Lord. Take off your shoes; you are in the holy valley of Tuwa. 12 “And I have chosen you, therefore listen carefully to what is divinely revealed to you.” 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god except Me. Worship Me, and establish the prayer of My remembrance. 14 Although it is certain that the Day of Judgment will come, I prefer to keep it almost a secret so that every soul will receive the recompense for what it has done (on its own). 15 "Therefore, let not the one who believes not therein (i.e. in the Day of Resurrection, Reckoning, Paradise and Hell, etc.), but follows his own lusts, divert you therefrom, lest you perish. 16 "Now, what is this in thy right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said: This is my staff whereon I lean, and wherewith I bear down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses. 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign, 22 We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious." 24
