The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. These are the verses of the Quran and of the illustrious Book 1 A guide: and glad tidings for the believers,- 2 Who establish worship and pay the poor-due and are sure of the Hereafter. 3 As for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds seem attractive to them so they stumble around in perplexity. 4 Those are they for whom is the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers. 5 (Muhammad), you have certainly received the Quran from the All-wise and All-knowing One. 6 (Remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his household: "Verily! I have seen a fire, I will bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand, that you may warm yourselves." 7 When he came up to it, a voice called out, "Blessed be whoever is near this fire, and whoever is around it! Glory be to God, Lord of the Universe! 8 O Moses, indeed it is I - Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise." 9 And cast down your staff. So when he saw it in motion as if it were a serpent, he turned back retreating and did not return: O Musa! fear not; surely the apostles shall not fear in My presence; 10 except he who has done evil, then, after evil, has changed into good. I am the Forgiving, Most Merciful. 11 "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression." 12 But when Our signs came to them in all their clarity they said, "This is clearly sorcery!" 13 And they gainsaid them, out of spite and arrogance, although their souls were convinced thereof. So behold! what hath been the end of the corruptors. 14
