Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees. 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: 'Which of the two parties has a better position or company?' 73 And how many a generation We destroyed before them, who were fairer in furnishing and outward show! 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively. 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
