Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a Straight Way. 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
