And when Allah said: O Isa, I am going to terminate the period of your stay (on earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you differed. 55 As for the unbelievers, I will chastise them with a terrible chastisement in this world and the next; they shall have no helpers.' 56 As for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah does not love the harmdoers. 57 This which We recite to you is a revelation and a wise reminder. 58 To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, "Exist," and Adam came into existence. 59 The truth is from your Lord, therefore, do not be among the doubters. 60 And if anyone should argue with thee about this [truth] after all the knowledge that has come unto thee, say: "Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray [together] humbly and ardently, and let us invoke God's curse upon those [of us] who are telling a lie." 61 This is the true account: There is no god except Allah; and Allah-He is indeed the Exalted in Power, the Wise. 62 But if they turn back, then surely Allah knows the mischief-makers. 63
