Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
