The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 in endless columns! 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
